My friend's birthday was a few weeks ago, so I made a low-poly model of their recently redesigned character. And then we had a bit of fun on the Discord doing various pose requests.
Been a while since I've modeled a character directly from a reference, and I've *never* done a character with separate clothing before. (Normally I just draw the textures and put them on the main body model.) I was honestly afraid the rigging might not work because of this.
Fortunately, it worked...well enough. In certain positions, the arms clip out of the sleeves, and her back clips through the jacket if she bends too far, but that's only visible from behind. (Also she has no feet, and the shoes are just parented to the foot bones, so they can end up looking a bit off from some angles.)
